Morten Schelde
 
Morten Schelde was born in 1972 in Copenhagen, Denmark where he lives and works. He received his MA from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen (2001). Major solo exhibitions include Gl Strand (2014), Rønnebæksholm, Næstved (2010) and Vestsjællands Kunstmuseum, Sorø (2007). In 2006 Morten Schelde was artist in residence at the Galathea 3 naval expedition sailing from Nuuk, Greenland to Cape Town, South Africa. Among awards he has received Niels Wessel Bagge's Grant (2010).
