Jesper Rasmussen
 
Jesper Rasmussen was born in 1959 and lives and works in Århus, Denmark. He graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (1985). Solo exhibitions include Skagen Museum, Skagen (with Jeanette Ehlers and Marie Kølbæk Iversen), Utzon Center, Aalborg (2010), Den Frie, Copenhagen (2008), Brandts, Odense (2007) and Overgaden, Copenhagen (2001). Jesper Rasmussen is Headmaster at the Jutland Art Academy, Århus (2005-present) and co-editor of the art journal Pist Protta (since 1981). He was awarded Ole Haslund's Grant (2006), Carl Nielsen og Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen's Grant (2008) and The Medal of Eckersberg (2009).
